  • Masa Harina Corn Flour 2 Cups
  • Water 2 Cups
  • Olive Oil 1 Tbsp
  • Salt 1 Tsp

You Will Need

  • Baking Paper
  • A rolling pin
  • A flat frying pan


  • A Tortilla Press makes this very easy. But you can roll the tortilla out by hand.
  • Make sure the dough is combined like a playdough consistency, add more water or flour if necessary
  • Use baking paper with dough in between to prevent sticking
  • Use a flat cast iron pan that is hot


  1. Put the Masa Harina Flour in a bowl (you can get Masa Harina flour online just search in Google)
  2. Add the Salt
  3. Add the water and combine with your hands until dough becomes pliable like playdough consistency
  4. Add olive oil
  5. Put a flat pan on high heat
  6. Roll dough into golf ball size balls
  7. Place between two sheets of baking paper and press in tortilla press and roll with rolling pin into a flat circle
  8. One at a time, carefully peel flat tortilla off the baking paper and place into the hot pan
  9. Cook for one minute on each side and set aside
  10. Serve with your favorite fillings
